Dhiffushi is a local island in the Maldives, where everyday island life carries on at its own rhythm. Ruka Maldives opens a door to that side of the country — quieter, closer and more personal than the postcard version.

Below the surface, the reef does the talking. Guests share encounters with hawksbill turtles gliding over the coral, stingrays crossing the shallows and, on the right day, a whale shark passing through the blue. Above the water, the pace slows to island time.
