A Whisper from Ireland
The Dean Hotel
Galway — a design-led boutique hotel built partly from the old Galway–Clifden railway tunnel, a few minutes’ walk from Eyre Square.
Galway’s first hotel of its kind, The Dean is design-led and playful, built partly from an 1830s stone section and a stretch of the old Galway–Clifden railway tunnel. Rooms range from compact ‘ModPods’ to suites and penthouses, some fitted with Smeg fridges and record players.
On site are Sophie’s restaurant and rooftop terrace looking over the city and the bay, the Elephant & Castle, and Peig’s Bar, plus a Power Gym with a hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite. It’s a few minutes’ walk from Eyre Square, in the heart of Galway.
